I am truly honored to be featured on the cover of Passion Vista, a global luxury lifestyle magazine with readers across the world.
Originating in India, Passion Vista is published both in print and online, and reaches audiences in Asia, Europe, the United States, the UK, the UAE, Oceania, and beyond.
(Unfortunately, it’s not available in Japan—so I wanted to share this exciting news here!)
Before the Magazine Arrived, a Different Kind of Gift Did
Due to ongoing shipping delays in India and the impact of a recent airline accident, the magazine hasn’t yet arrived at my doorstep.
During one of our Zoom calls, Karan—the editor in charge—quietly shared something that deeply moved me:
“The plane crash happened just 7–8 km from our headquarters… to be honest, I’m still trying to recover emotionally.”
The moment I heard that, I felt a strong tug in my heart.
It wasn’t just a logistical update—it was a message filled with raw human emotion and vulnerability.
In that instant, he was no longer just a business partner.
He became someone I felt connected to as a fellow human being navigating a difficult time.
It felt as though I had received an unexpected gift—one of genuine human connection.
Trust Built Through a Screen
Over the past two months, we’ve had 4–5 Zoom meetings and exchanged dozens of emails.
What started as formal communication gradually evolved.
Now, we find ourselves chatting about personal updates, laughing, and sharing stories—just like old friends.
Different cultures, different languages—but trust between people?
That, I’ve realized, is universal.
Global Work Is All About How You Communicate
Working across cultures brings challenges.
There are moments of confusion and misunderstandings due to differing values or norms.
That’s why I always try to keep this principle in mind:
“Speak clearly, but speak from the heart.”
Holding back out of fear can lead to miscommunication.
But being too forceful can create distance.
Striking that delicate balance is essential in global business.
It’s not always easy—but it’s always worth it.
Being on the Cover Is Not the Goal—It’s the Beginning
Of course, being featured on the cover is an exciting milestone.
But even more valuable is what happened behind the scenes: the connection.
Across countries and cultures, hearts can still meet.
And I truly believe this is just the beginning of a long and meaningful relationship.
